In the Solaksubasi plant, olive oil is produced on a continuous processing line manufactured by Pieralisi, who is a leader in olive oil production equipment. We also still use our ancient stone presses for special productions.
Fresh
fruits from early-harvest and harvest of the region's olive groves are
brought directly to the plant. They are processed immediately, and in full
compliance with food hygine standards. They never go through interim
storage before or during the process. After production, the olive oil rests
for a while in a temperature controlled environment without air and light,
to grow to its full natural taste and gain its limpidity. This is how the
olive oil of Solive comes to life, fully natural, with excellent quality and
full taste. Olives are prepared and consumed in many different forms in western anatolia, each with different, time-honoured methods developed to conserve and consume the fruit at different stages of its life.
